Ya know who else? Don't know if they'd qualify as a comedy duo, as I don't think they did "stand-up" on stage, but they made some hilarious movies together. Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn always make me smile. They not only acted together, they were in love from the moment they met.

http://www.hellomagazine.com/brides/gallery/201011044445/iconic-couples/katharine-hepburn/spencer-tracy/1/DJhttp://d-jonesy.livejournal.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-272454041079558220.post-55250509307133926712011-07-23T11:18:25.264-04:002011-07-23T11:18:25.264-04:00I voted for Abbott & Costello but they would r...I voted for Abbott & Costello but they would really be my #2 choice. My all-time favorite would have to be a team that is remarkably not on the list: Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy. I really think their comedy was timeless and stands up well over a span of 50-90 years.

Lucy & Ricky? Meh. Mostly husband/wife conflict. Maybe I just saw way too much of them in my youth.
Smothers Bros? Very topical and dated, but funny at the time.
Martin & Lewis? They were sorta humorous, but I didn't like the "village idiot" that Jerry played...it seemed as stupid then as it does now when Adam Sandler does it.DJhttp://d-jonesy.livejournal.com/noreply@blogger.com
